How much money do you need to be 'rich' these days?

I mean a £million isn't really much these days is it? It would buy you a nice house in London, or a nicer one in the country, but it wouldn't allow you to 'spend, spend, spend' for very long would it? It wouldn't get you 'in' with the Forbes rich list and it wouldn't guarantee entry into 'high society' - so how rich is rich?

Today they are increasingly being used for personal use by individuals to protect their privacy while online in public places (e.g. when using the wi-fi connection in a cafe) or in a country where the internet is censored / blocked (e.g. China, Saudi Arabia…).
